Job purpose: Lead Operations Support Team ensuring an efficient system is in place to support the Sales Team to deliver Sales & Operations targets for the whole network by providing professional service in all areas; Monitor all available channels performance against targets and developing plans to address shortfalls and gaps; Be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and providing leadership to achieve Retail Sales Tactical and Strategic objectives across all channels in the Retail Sales business. Main responsibilities: Retail P&L performance: Coordinate and control staff-related costs part of P&L including forecasting, budgeting and planning; Contribute to continuous improvement of nonperforming areas and for implementation of corrective actions; Support other P&L field operations cost (Utilities, Materials, etc), analysis and cost optimization initiatives; Supervise continuous Fuel Volume Forecast aligned with seasonality, competitors’ price, own price, market fuel supply/demand fluctuations, etc; Suggest, develop and approve T&R Scorecard for reviewing month/year T&R (fact/plan) during regular review workshops. Site performance and operational development: Develop, execute and communicate all site operating standards and processes that are aligned with strategy, keeping in mind ease of understanding, implementation and appropriateness of measurement methods; Manage PMTDR program support and implementation at local level; Supervise all other Site Staff Incentive programs including monthly forecasting and budgeting, formalization, execution of payments, make necessary updates; Localize and implement other global and local Op. Excellence initiatives according to the approved plan and schedule (plan, develop, execute and update Star Factory Program); Ensure continuous MMP execution and improvement; Coordination of all other Sales teams’ activities (global and local competitions, special events, non-marketing promo campaigns, etc); Look outside of Shell for innovative solutions to improve site operations from a standards setting and management perspective. Internal company cooperation: Define and resolve a wide range of complex situations and problems, interacting with all levels of Company management on matters involving planning, development, implementation and field engagement; Work closely with Network, Finance, HR, CR and Marketing for efficient implementation of different retail programs (maintenance & capex programs, cost saving initiatives, trainings for field personnel, etc); Provide continuous channel of communication by Business Units (Marketing, CR, HSSE)-S&Ops-TMs/Sites-S&Ops ladder in Sales & Operations and people management areas; Lead and manage Active Selling activities including AS scheduling, business case and staff motivation schemes development, communication, tracking and all other related administration; Own operational and technical instructions formalization; Support GM and Sales & Operations Director with quality analysis and insight on the business and economics; Fully support, develop and/or implement other projects in Op. Excellence and Sales & Operations areas, initiate recommendations on management decisions that make a significant impact on business profitability and growth potential.
