A train with a high symbolic value to remember and honour all our fallen for the homeland during the First World War. The historic train left on 5 October from Castel Maggiore, the headquarters of the Reggimento Genio Ferrovieri where it was set up together with the Fondazione FS for the 101st anniversary of the Milite Ignoto and stopped in Milan on 8 October 2022. In this video I have tried to recount all the stages of this unique event from the transfer of the material to the Reggimento Genio Ferrovieri, that relating to the locomotives used during the event, the arrival in Milan, the event and the departure for Turin, the site of the next stage of the tour.
