Я представил себе крутой журнал, в котором статьи пишут сами читатели, и подумал, что это и в самом деле интересная идея. Мне захотелось посмотреть, как это реализовано с точки зрения интерфейса для пользователя. Следующие три дня я провёл на сайте LiveJournal.com - читая, читая, читая. Для меня открылась новая Вселенная. Столько живых людей, и у каждого масса интересных историй. Я как будто из 2001 года переместился в 2011-й. Это был мир будущего, и он был поистине прекрасен. В то время от меня ушла жена, и я очень тяжело переживал своё одиночество. ЖЖ подарил мне чувство, что я не одинок в этом мире - и таких людей как я очень много. Но как же эти люди называют себя? - спросил я самого себя. Эти люди называли себя "bloggers" - так я узнал, что я блогер. С тех пор я обитаю в ЖЖ, и хотя появилось много соцсетей - они по-прежнему не могут заменить мне ЖЖ.
