MINSK, 16 October (BelTA) — Venezuela will send more students to study in Belarus, Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs Yvan Gil Pinto told the media after his talks with Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik in Minsk on 16 October, BelTA has learned. Yvan Gil Pinto stressed the importance of cooperation between Belarus and Venezuela in education, science and technology. “These are the aspects on which we have made good progress over the past few years and which need additional impetus. We have students who study on scholarships in Belarus. We have agreed to expand scholarships for Venezuelan students as well as our cooperation in science and technology,” the minister said.
